At least 11 people were injured when residents of a Muslim community in Pasay City pelted a demolition team with stones, bottles and even human waste in a desperate bid to prevent their houses from being torn down Wednesday morning.

(UPDATE) Three people, including a seven-year-old child, were killed Wednesday during the demolition of shanties in a Muslim community in Pasay City, according to a radio report.
Eleven people were injured during a confrontation between Muslim residents and enforcers of the clearing operation at a mosque along Roxas Boulevard on Wednesday morning, a traffic enforcer said.
